I can tell you I haven't heard of any competition winning cars running their gear. Guy doesn't have a proper perception of what sounds good if he believes this. That's a pretty bold and unsubstantiated claim. But if you have the budget listed above, do it right all at once.ĥ. Once you add the zen a2b, you eliminate all factory b&o equipment. You can upgrade the speakers first but you cannot add an amp to them until you install the Zen a2b. Yes, it makes it plug and play minus the tweeter channels. NavTV is mandatory for integrating with the B&O system. You'd be hard pressed to find a component set as nice as the Morel Tempo Ultras for the price.ģ. I saw the FoxBox enclosure and it looks like a factory for in the back. Long story short, Camry is gone and I have a Ford F150 XLT Crew Cab. I lean towards Morel because of my experience with a variety of different Morel lines. Will the truck sound terrible if just the door speakers are upgraded and a sub is not added for a while? They recommended installing the BLAM 165RSQ speakers in the front doors and the coaxial version in the rear doors. They said that they are owned by a previous engineer at Focal. I would prefer a box behind the seats but I have heard that they do not work well and that a down-firing box under the seat works much better.ġ) I stopped at a local custom shop last week and they recommended BLAM and claimed that they were much better quality and sound than the JL speakers. Is adding the power wire, amp, and speakers all that difficult? I would like to install at least 1 - 10: sub in a box. I know that I can probably get a much better system if I install it myself but I do not have any experience installing or tuning car audio. I have a budget of $2500-$3000 for everything. I had been set on upgrading to Morel or JL Audio door speaker (components for front doors and coax in rear). I have several questions about upgrading the sound system in my truck.
